Accessibility Statement

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements set out in Annex A of the UNI EN 301549:2018 standard (which incorporates WCAG 2.1), due to the non-compliances listed below.

The following content is not accessible:

  1. The main slider created with the Slider Revolution plugin presents accessibility issues:
Images do not contain a descriptive “alt” attribute (WCAG criterion 1.1.1).
  2. The website does not provide visible or accessible “skip links” to allow users to quickly jump to the main sections of the page (content, navigation, footer, etc.). This lack may hinder keyboard or screen reader navigation, especially for users with motor or visual disabilities.
  3. This functionality is required by WCAG 2.1 – Success Criterion 2.4.1 “Bypass Blocks”.
  4. Missing ARIA properties in menus: Menu items that trigger submenus do not expose the aria-haspopup="true" attribute, preventing screen readers from correctly identifying the presence of dropdown content. This omission hinders understanding and navigation for users with visual impairments, violating WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 4.1.2 “Name, Role, Value”.
  5. Some buttons and links do not have an accessible name (WCAG criterion 4.1.2).
  6. Some images do not contain a descriptive “alt” attribute (WCAG criterion 1.1.1).
  7. The heading structure is not always consistent with the logical order of the content (WCAG criterion 1.3.1).
